I was just having a comment conversation with another Buzzer about our music jukeboxes on our profile pages. She mentioned wanting to change her tunes up because they were getting stale. I also had this same issue when I used programs like Project Playlist so I ended up switching my jukebox over to my custom Slacker.com radio station. At Slacker you can add your favorite bands to your own stations and they will randomly select songs from them. It’s never stale - like iTunes on shuffle!

Currently I have 106 bands on my station. When you add a band, Slacker pulls up a list of suggested bands from similar genres so you will sometimes see a band that you had forgotten about and can add them, too.

I want to add some artists to my station that I have yet to discover or have forgotten about. What are your favorite bands? Maybe I will like them, too, and we can rock out together! Hopefully Slacker.com will have them in their collection.

I'm sure these are on your radar but here's a few I've really liked lately.

Foo Fighters--Their new one is awesome.
Fiction Plane--Sting's son fronts this band and plays bass just like dad. They're pretty good.
Herbie Hancock's new one--fantastic.
the subdudes--much, much better live but some good stuff is out there

That's all I've got for now.
