| Quirkee Junior's Photo Project: Day 3 |
|
|
Today we worked on quality and not quantity. He only shot 32 photos today, which is a 90% decrease from yesterday! I asked him what he wanted to shoot today and he said "Horses!" We have two horses that live down the street but we don't live in the country by any means. The little ranch down the road has held onto their property while neighborhoods built around it. There is a bigger ranch not far away (5 miles?) that is an assisted living community for the cognitively challenged. The ranch used to have a great nursery where you could buy plants, trees, and flowers all year long, but in the last year or so they stopped that business. It's a wonderful community with a great mission. More about Marbridge Ranch here. At this ranch there are a bunch of horses so that's where I said we would go. The fields are big, the horses are of all colors, and it would provide about an hour of shooting and watching them play. Not only that but he did not take one photo of the TV today! Here are a few that his photo editor picked out: (btw - the sensor in my D70 needs cleaning! I didn't clone out the dust/hair since I wanted the shot to be his. I did utilize the Auto-Fix on flickr to adjust the levels.) "Dad! I got his eye!" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We also drove by the VFW out there so he could shoot the plane, too. ![]() ![]()
