There I was at a beautiful Trump Tower resort on the outskirts of Waco, Texas. This magnificent building also had an elementary school on the bottom two floors. Across from the main tower there was another office building that was not quite as tall. We took some of the school classes over to this building for lessons. I walked in from taking a break outside and the building started moving. One of the girls from a class was floating in the lobby with nobody else around. Thinking that was a little weird, I went up to her to see what was happening and started floating for a few seconds myself. I went to find a friend and we replayed it on the video surveillance tapes so he could see for himself that we were really suspended in air and not making it up.
As we evacuated the building of students and employees in the offices, I grabbed all of the dogs on leashes and took them to the fenced-in playground. Once we were all safely outside I looked up in the sky and saw two blimps - a red and a blue one. There was also a military radar plane accompanied by about six helicopters. Wondering if this was some kind of earthquake or government experiment, I looked down at my hands and realized I brought two books from inside the building and one was about old walkie-talkies.
I put the books down and started playing golf with Tiger Woods at the Trump Tower resort golf course. I was John Daly's caddy but he was nowhere in sight, so we walked on. Tiger hit a tricky putt on a green that looked like it was from a miniature golf course. As it rolled all around the little hills on the green we were all saying, "Yes! Go, go, go!" It rolled right by us toward the hole when another golfer stuck his foot out and kicked it in the other direction. There was silence for a few seconds then Tiger was pissed! The unknown golfer claimed it was an accident. A reaction. Tiger walked off the green muttering something about how the guy needed to be kicked off the tour. I agreed and went with him to the next hole.
After golf I went out to see a band with my friend Penley for his birthday. We were going to see Hayes Carll but ended up seeing The Hold Steady instead. The next day I ran into Hayes Carll and he asked who we went to see. I said, "We saw Hayes Carll, but we really wanted to come see your show. Have you heard of him?" He replied, "Oh yea, I've heard of him," and then walked away.
It was getting late and there I was riding my motorcycle back to Garland, Texas, with another friend whose name and face I do not recall. We stopped at a convenience store along the way but ended up walking into somebody's house for a bite to eat (some lemon cookies), a glass of water, and some chocolate milk. They were kind of stingy with the cookies and only let me have a few.
My friend decided to spend the night and it didn't seem like the invitation was extended to me. No matter, I wanted to get home to my own bed anyway. I was a little disappointed that he decided to stay because I was not looking forward to riding the highways alone on my motorcycle. Traveling in pairs or packs is safer because the other cars are more aware that you are there. My Dad pulled out a map (I'm not sure why he was there but it was no surprise that he had a map) to show me the back roads home so I would feel safer riding alone.
Before I left to finish my journey I stopped by the bathroom to take a leak. Standing at the toilet I noticed the wall behind it had some mildew on the tile. On the back of the toilet was a bottle of Clorox Clean-up so I sprayed down the wall, wiped it clean with toilet paper, and flushed. I don't know why I even bothered since they were not very hospitable and greedy with their cookies.
I walked to our motorcycles parked outside of the convenience store. I jumped on mine with a photocopy of the map and rode away - still uncertain about why I was floating in that moving building the day before.
