Just a few minutes ago out of the blue...

Little Bit: "Dammit."

Me: "What did you say?"

Little Mister: "She said dammit."

Me: "That's what I thought. Where did you hear that word?"

Little Mister: "I heard her say it. She said it first!"

Me: "I know. You don't say it, either. Where did you learn that word, Little Bit?"

Little Bit: "I learned it at school."

 

Hmm. Maybe she's not ready for the real world of preschool yet!

I'm not going to pretend I've never cursed in front of my kids and I'm always surprised they don't pick things up- especially when you can hear every word ever thought of just walking through the mall.

She is really cute! It seems they learn what you don't want them to learn and they don't learn what you do want them to learn. What's a father to do?
