If you haven't heard of Ben Mallott yet then chances are you will after
South by Southwest 2009 .
The Austin Chronicle picked Ben as one of nine local Austin bands to
break out at SXSW this year. Since the debut of his first album last
December I have been to a handful of shows with my camera around my
neck. I have always enjoyed shooting live music because of the raw
emotions involved with the songs. Ben Mallott brings those emotions and
more to the stage with his band of talented musicians.

It's been about a month since I posted anything here. School, work, and the family are keeping me busier than I have ever been. My Project 365, 2009 has been put to rest but that doesn't mean I won't be posting photos here. Until then I leave you with this pretty sweet Nine Inch Nails live from stage video in Sydney. If you are not a big fan of NIN (like my parents) then you will probably not want to hit the play button. What some people think of as ear candy others thing of as torture music that was played to the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. I for one, think of it as ear candy.
